Setup (Show all)
1. Do I need a hardware person to come in and setup a server?

No! This is the best part of Skybox Cloud IT Products. We will setup and maintain all of your products for you and give you simple, straightforward instructions on what you need to know about the products.

2. How long does it take to get setup with a Skybox Plan?

If you are a new business with no existing domain name or phone numbers to transfer we can get you setup within a week.  If you do have existing domain names or phone numbers to transfer, the process of transferring those is a little more time consuming so it will be a few weeks until you are completely up and running.

3. Is there a contract involved or can I cancel any time?

No contracts, you can cancel at any time.

4. What happens to my data if I cancel my cloud services?

You can move your data onto your local computers at any time, just remember once you stop using the Skybox cloud services, your data is only going to be on those local computers.  It is no longer being backed up or maintained by us, you are now responsible for any viruses, hardware failure, software licensing, etc.

Cloud and Security (Show all)
5. What are the recommended browsers for using the cloud services?

All browsers are supported, but our recommended browsers go in cycles depending on the current updates that the browser provider has rolled out. The most important thing to do is keep your browser up to date to avoid security vulnerabilities and save time. Many modern browsers will even update themselves for you.

6. What happens if the cloud services go down?

We offer a 99.9% financially backed service level agreement so you have the least amount of downtime possible for your business.  We also offer high availability infrastructure centered around three key elements: performance, availability and data protection.  However, if you lose internet connection, with ShareSync you can still access your files as normal and the files can sync back up when your internet connection is restored.

7. How secure is my data?

Skybox Innovations is committed to keeping your data secure and protected from today’s rapidly evolving security threats.  Please visit our Security page for more details.

11. Can I keep my existing phone numbers if I switch to Skybox’s Voice Services?

13. Exchange vs. Outlook: What’s the difference?

It is common to think that Outlook and Exchange are the same thing because they work so well together, but they are not.  Outlook is the program you use on your computer to access your email, calendar and contacts—which is powered by Exchange.
